Since 2009, ESI has been dedicated to making a positive impact on the oil and gas service industry. We achieve this by collaborating with innovative manufacturers who enhance the lives of field workers, improve job performance, and prioritize safety. These men & women put themselves in some of the most dangerous situations to ensure the safety of their communities, avoiding letting their team or collogues down, and ensuring the companies they represent stay compliant. One mis-step could change someone’s life forever or at at the very least, cost them their job. This is the reason we chose this market to serve. Over the years we have developed 2 slogans we felt truly represent what we stand for and what purpose ESi serves in the market place. “We Make It Easy” and recently “Smarter is Always Better than Harder.” However, when we truly looked at ourselves in the mirror we came to the realization that we have areas which require significant improvement. It was important that we act fast to address these areas of concern. So I made an immediate decision to put our focus where we believed needed the most attention. This became our focus as we entered 2023.
The Key Areas include:
– Rental Fleet – Expand our Rental Fleet, increase our inventory of the Parts we need to maintain them
– Expand our service area for the rental fleet and hire an experienced technician. Not just any experience, a tech experienced with the tools we carry.
– Invest in a more advance Rental and Tracking system &acquire a platform to train.
– Improve our Online Customer Experience by streamlining the buying process, providing options that make it easy to do business, and making the overall process faster by providing a platform which allows the customer to complete an entire transaction online.

I’m proud to say we have successfully completed 3 out the 4 of areas. In addition, we have dramatically improved the 4th area of concern, which was improving our customer’s online experience. We have expanded our LinkedIn presence and made it easier (although we still have more work to do) to understand who we are, who we serve, and our mission. ESi Introduced their very first Online Store with Trunkline, which is a platform that is specific to our industry. Giving customers options to purchase pre-owned tools, which comes in handy if you have a tight budget. We are more active on Instagram and making better attempts to obtain more followers. However, what I most proud of is the creation and launch of our 2nd Website. The idea for the website came from direct feedback which was provided by our clientele. Customers, partners, and prospects were initially impressed by our primary website, but the more they clicked the less impressive it became. Customer’s expressed issues such as getting lost, difficult to navigate, and challenging to find the product or service they want. In other words difficult to do business with ESi. Not exactly what a General Manager wants to hear, but exactly what I needed to hear. ESi began on taking steps to improve the website by making it mobile friendly, updating the content, and planning future improvements. They also introduced www.flangespreaderrental.com which they believe solved many of the issues that plagued them before. The new site was designed for the Oil and Gas service industry, specifically for companies or operators that work with flanges in any capacity. Planners, schedulers, operators, and supervisors alike who know what they want, when they need it, and understand the value of time because they have none to spare. We have dedicated www.flangespreaderrental.com to the men and women in the service industry by streamlining the process, providing additional services like get “Net” terms online or even credit, and making the buying process as transparent as possible. This greatly expands our reach, and provides us with a platform to better serve our customers. We still have more work to do, but I’m proud of how far we have come.
