ESI’s Zero Gap Flange Spreader line spreads flanges with little or no access gap, and are also ideal when obstructions, such as the change out of blinds or butterfly valves are involved.
When used in pairs, as recommended, Secure-Grip Spreaders will produce from 22T to 26T of spreading force.
By employing the innovative expanding bolt hole collet/pin system, the collets/pins expand and grip the inner walls of the bolt holes and are able to “pull” open flange joints from the outside of flange joints through the cantilevering action of the outer arms of the Mechanical and Hydraulic spreaders.
