Bolt hole flange spreaders

Bolt Hole Flange Spreader are a type of flange spreaders that spread a joint from within the bolt holes. The operator sets up the flange spreader. One end rests on the outer edge of the first flange, and the other end sits on the outer edge of the connecting flange. Once the setup is complete, the operator engages the flange spreader. This usually involves expanding pins or collets (think of them as mechanical arms) that grip the flange surfaces. These pins or collets are strategically positioned to fit into the bolt holes of the flanges. With the flange spreader in place, the operator applies controlled force to pull the joint apart.
