ESI’s SWi flange spreader rental program rents the Equalizer SWi range of flange spreading wedges — hydraulic and mechanical models rated up to 25 tons — for construction, commissioning, maintenance, and shutdown/outage work. Houston-based with nationwide delivery, ESI equips crews across the oil & gas, petrochemical, and power generation sectors for scheduled turnarounds and emergency repairs alike.

Every SWi flange spreader rental kit ships with the following specifications:

  • Spreading Force: up to 25 tons (SWi20/25TE, SWi20/25TI); 8.7 tons (SWi5TE, SWi5TI)
  • Spreading Distance: up to 4.1 in (SWi20/25TE, SWi20/25TI); up to 4 in (SWi5TE, SWi5TI)
  • Minimum Access Gap: 0.24 in (SWi20/25TE, SWi20/25TI); 0.16 in (SWi5TE, SWi5TI)
